Just thinking back over the years and wanted to share something with everyone. When Brittney was around four, I was babysitting Rose's son and had Alisa. When it was nap time for them, it was Britney and Momma time. We would go on the front porch and swing and she would sing to me. Usually, it was Barney songs, ABC's, Little Mermaid songs, and "I Shall Not Be Moved". Don't ask, she loved that song. Anyway, one day we were swinging and I heard the babies start waking up. I asked if she was ready to go in and check on the babies, she said "I guess so". On the way in she said, "Momma, when I get big I am not having any kids." I asked, Why? She said "All they do is drive you crazy." I think she pretty much stuck to that cause she was funny around kids. She loved to play with babies but when they became toddlers (except for Alisa) she didn't really want to be around them. She did finally decided about a year ago that she thought she wanted one. And she wanted to have one fat baby so it wouldn't want to do too much and she wouldn't have to run after it as much as I did for her and Alisa. She also tried to get Alisa in trouble by telling her that Yes meant No and No meant Yes. Needless to say, when I would ask Alisa to pick up toys or anything she would say No and get in trouble..... Oh I wish I had those days back!
